Chicken Stuffed Croissants

Ingredients

  • 1 (8 count) package Pillsbury Refrigerated Crescent Dinner Rolls
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • ¼ cup celery, chopped
  • ¼ cup onion, chopped
  • 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded
  • ¼ cup butter, melted
  • ½ cup croutons, crushed

Directions

  1. Begin by combining the shredded chicken, cream cheese, celery, and onion in a bowl.
  2. Unroll the crescent rolls, but keep pairs of rolls together to form four squares.
  3. Scoop a portion of the chicken mixture onto the center of each square.
  4. Bring the corners of each square together and secure them at the top.
  5. Dip the bottom of each stuffed croissant into the melted butter.
  6. Sprinkle the crushed croutons over the buttered bottoms.
  7. Bake the croissants on a cookie sheet in a 350 degree oven for 30 minutes.
  8. Allow the croissants to cool for at least 5 minutes before serving.

  • You can add a variety of fillings to these croissants - consider trying other types of cheese, or adding some herbs for an extra flavor kick!
